I wrote A Thousand Words for Rebecah, this beautiful lady seen here.

 A Thousand Words

If a thousand words could ever
Paint a picture true
The volumes that my pen would write
In colors all of you

In paragraphs of poetry
In verses of fine art
With all my being I would write
The feelings of my heart

And knowing all the while that
There's nothing I might say
That ever could describe the one
Who's made me feel this way

If all of the world's artists
And all the poets too
And all the novelists of love
Could offer something new

Or a hundred angels' voices
Whispered in my ear
The golden words of prayers before
From cent'ries yesteryear

Then and only then could I
Find the words I knew
Which, when written, look like these
The words of "I love you."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rising star of golden dawn
Bowed in darkness; stirred by light
Chilled no more; instead, I warm
Heart's unspoken words that show
Kindnesses I've come to know
Answer back I try to form
East I turn; away from night
E'er your gaze will shine upon
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 Poem for a Rose

When cold had passed away
Her garment of gray
Against
The winter's sky

Anon

Begotten of a seed
Easily overlooked
And buried alive
Until such a time and
Temperature should
Infuse rebirth
Feelings of life
Understood at
Last within

For if the world walked by
Laughing, or crying
Once, or a thousand times
Who indeed might
Even acknowledge the
Restlessness beneath

Its
Stirring

To awaken in joy
Heaven's gift to
Every man that sees

Raptured and
Overwhelmed my heart and
Soul in your petals'
Embrace
